11th & Natoma Park: Call for Naming Proposals

Attention South of Market Community! We have the opportunity of a lifetime: naming the future park at 11th and Natoma!


We're looking for your proposals for naming our new park. Learn about the submission guidelines, upcoming meetings, and more here.

Are you curious about what we're looking for in our new park's name?

Here are some of the criteria:


• If it is a non-person name, it should reflect the neighborhood's history, the park's location, or the design characteristics of the future park.


• If it is a person's name, we would like to honor individuals who have made significant contributions to the SOMA community in some way, have not been previously honored in public naming, and have been deceased for at least two years prior.


The deadline to submit your ideas for names is 2/12, and our first meeting will be 2/13 on Zoom.
