Through our commitment to sourcing the best ingredients for our food and to draw from traditional, urban and progressive techniques to bring you the spirit of Bangkok in a bite. Born in 1995, in an abandoned warehouse in SOMA, Basil was a project started by a group of young Thai artists, architects, DJ’s, & musicians who all had a love affair with Thailand. Their singular shared vision was to create a restaurant that captured the energy, vibrancy and allure of Bangkok, through food, space and music, one that did not conform to the standards. We continue on with the effort through our commitment to sourcing the best ingredients for our food and to draw from traditional, urban and progressive techniques to bring you the spirit of Bangkok in a bite.
