During the COVID-19 pandemic, San Franciscans have stepped up to help our neighbors. You’ve helped people access food and basic necessities, and have checked in on their well-being.
This year, your fellow San Franciscans need your help more than ever before. Let’s keep the generosity going.
Support your neighbors by volunteering and donating to San Francisco-based organizations. Your contributions of time and money will help make this holiday season brighter for us all!
Volunteering
There are many ways to volunteer safely this holiday season and beyond. You can do:
- Outdoor, socially distanced volunteer shifts
- Individual meal drop-offs
- Phone calls from home
If you choose to volunteer in person, remember to check your health, wear your mask, and stay 6 feet apart. We can all stay safe while helping each other.
Donating
You can help your neighbors in need by donating this holiday season. Many organizations looking for volunteers will also accept donations!
Make a tax-deductible donation to Give2SF. Give2SF is the City’s COVID-19 Response and Recovery Fund. The funds help support individuals, families, and local businesses.
